Hospital Nurse

RVN LCGI, BA (Hons)

“I joined 608 Vet Practice in September 2013 after 2 years at a Malvern practice and previously working at the West Mercia Police Headquarters kennels. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in early 2015 and have a passion for medical, surgical and exotic nursing. I have 2 degrees, Public Services and Leadership and Management. I'm always seeking further professional development and have additional qualifications in small exotic animal care and welfare, veterinary reception and I am a Pet Bereavement Support Counsellor, Diabetic Advisor and a First Aider at work. Outside of work, I teach at Pershore Sea Cadet Unit as a Chief Petty Officer, where my specialisms include Meteorology, First Aid and Rowing. I am a huge Aston Villa fan and try to attend as many games as I can. At home I have my beloved Wauzer (Schnauzer cross Westie), Misty. She has controlled diabetes and is loyal, intelligent and cheeky.”
