Lead Nurse

RVN

“I joined 608 in 2016 as a student nurse and qualified as an RVN in January 2019. Before nursing, I completed a FdSc in Animal behaviour and welfare. I have interests in anaesthesia, surgical nursing and laboratory work. I enjoy carrying out nursing appointments, which include seeing patients post-surgery so I can see patients’ progression as they get better. Also, nurse appointments are a great excuse to give patients lots of treats and fuss giving them a positive experience of the vets (especially puppies and kittens in for 2nd vaccines). I look forward to developing my skills further and specialising in a variety of nursing areas as I continue to grow as a nurse and teaching others as a clinical coach. I have a rescue dog called Molly who we think is a Boxer crossed with a Labrador and a Westie called Daisy.”
